Relentless Suzuki's Alastair Seely has cruised to the National Superstock 1000 win at Donington Park this afternoon with former British 250GP Champion Scott Smart in second.
Seeley got away from the line with Padgett's Honda man Steve Brogan in close attendance, followed by Richard Cooper and Marshall Neill. Smart, who qualified in fourth, found himself in seventh halfway round the first lap.
Brogan briefly sent past the Irishman on the first lap but Seeley was soon back in command, lapping a second faster than the rest of the field at Smart made his way into fourth and Cooper took second from the Liverpool man.
Smart then went past the Padgett's Honda on the brakes in Melbourne with four laps gone as Seeley streaked away, and then the Maidstone man went past Co-ordit's Cooper on lap six to take second which he held to the line.
Brogan also succembed to SMT Honda's Adam Jenkinson at half distance with James Hillier in sixth, Luke Quigley in seventh and Marshall Neil rounding out the top eight.
