DONINGTON BSB: WALTER HAVING A BETTER SEASON

Interserve Racing’s Ross Walter continues his battle in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship at the Leicestershire circuit of Donington Park this Bank Holiday Weekend.
Walter who finished third in the Supersport Cup Championship in 2008 returns to the main championship this season.  Walter is certainly one to watch in the races with him gaining eight places at Brands Hatch and five at Oulton giving him two top 15 finishes.
Walter said: “It is going a lot better than last year, the bikes are much stronger than last year, already this season we have bettered our best results.  It’s the same bike but different engine.”
“This weekend I aiming for a top ten, but we are 21st at the moment.  We are starting from scratch really as can’t compare the results to last year.  I like Donington but so does everybody else.”
Through his short racing career the Lytchett Matravers rider picked up the 2004 Bemsee Championship title at only 15 years old and finished third overall in the MRO Supersport category a couple of years later.
Walter qualified 19th for this Bank Holiday Monday’s race and aims to build on his current five championship points and beat his best race finish of 13th.
