Christian Iddon's consistent pace over the Oulton Bennetts British Superbike weekend brought him to only 12 points behind series leader Glenn Irwin and two behind VisionTrack Ducati team-mate Josh Brookes.

Iddon says he has a simple plan for this weekend's Donington Park clash and that is to do the same job he did at Oulton with some improvements.

“The plan is simple - to carry on the good form we showed at Oulton Park. Those results have brought me back into contention and I’m fully aware of the job that needs to be done again this weekend," said the Stockport rider.

"As ever, we will just take it lap by lap in every race and work out a plan as we go along. I know the Ducati is strong again around Donington GP and I had a good weekend too last year so I’m feeling good.

"It’s vital we keep working and improving at every round and if we do, the results will come.”
