Bosses at Donington Park have confirmed the planned May Bank Holiday British Superbike meeting will go ahead as planned despite rumours of this weekend's British Touring Car round at the track being cancelled.
Donington Ventures Leisure Limited (DVLL) has submitted a signed contract for the event and payment has been accepted by MSVR.
"We're delighted that we have been able to reach an amicable agreement with MSVR to continue to host the third round of the 2009 British Superbike Championship in May," said Donington Park's Simon Gillett. "Our main priority was not to let the fans down, so it's satisfying to see our hard work behind the scenes paying off."
