Lloyds British Moto Rapido Ducati newboy Stuart Easton says he is ready for the upcoming Cadwell Park MCE British Superbike weekend after a successful two-day test at the Lincolnshire track.
Easton signed for the Hampshire-based squad last weekend and was immediately thrown in the deep end, seeing the Panigale for the first time yesterday but the Hawick rider says it was a useful session and he is now ready for his first race.
“It has been a really good test and we did lots of miles over the last two days, but I had a lot to learn as it is so different to what I have been riding over the last few years. It feels nice now that I have got used to it, I have been getting a feel for how the bike reacts and responds and it has been enjoyable which is good, especially at a track like Cadwell Park,” he said.
“We have made friends with the bike and I am working well with the team so I am happy. We want to chip away and keep moving forward but already I am feeling pretty good on it and ready for next weekend.”
