GBmoto Honda riders Tristan Palmer and Luke Quigley have wrapped up their first pre-season test at Alcarras after spending four days in the Spanish sunshine dialling in their 2012-spec Fireblades for this year's British Superbike Championship.
The pair have spent time dialling in various suspension and eletronics settings but yesterday Palmer was fine-tuning the front-end feel while Quigley focused on sorting out final adjustments for the shock.
"Each bike now has a stable, responsive chassis set-up, and are great platforms for further incremental changes to ignition and fueling maps. We feel that we are already well advanced in our progress in this area. Overall, the entire team at Alcarras has put in a mammoth effort. Their work, determination and dedication has made the four day test a real success for the team. We are now looking forward to our next tests at Brands Hatch and Snetterton, but squeezing in some dyno work prior to this as well," said team boss Mark Smith-Halvorsen.
