GOWLAND CONFIRMED AT ROB MAC YAMAHA FOR BSB

As revealed by www.bikesportnews.com a while ago, former World Supersport rider Graeme Gowland will join Chris Walker in the all-new Rob Mac Yamaha outfit for 2009.

McElnea now has three Superbike riders on his books with yesterday's news that Michael Rutter is to join the squad under NW200 colours, and young charger Dan Linfoot will head up the team's British Supersport efforts.

"This is the most excited my team have been for many years, the brand new R1 has us all fired up and now to be able to announce our new rider line up really sets up a nice Christmas," said the Burly Humbersider.

"Chris Walker and Michael Rutter will be both very serious title contenders; their experience and consistency will prove to be the major path to our success and at the same time help develop our young riders. It has been a very tricky time of late to put this team together and I really want to thank all of our partners new and old for lifting the spirits of my team and giving me a chance to put this show on the road.

"Gary Warren (Motorpoint) and Joe Henderson (Henderson) will be in the blue corner with Chris and Graeme, with Alistair Kennedy (NW200) in the red corner with Michael and Dan."
