Former Centurion Honda British Supersport man Tom Grant has been confirmed as joining the Hydrex Honda team at Cadwell British Superbikes for a one-off ride on Guy Martin's CBR600.
Grant, who split with Centurion after running out of sponsorship money, has found some extra funding and is determined to put on a good show at the Lincolnshire track this coming weekend.
"I really want to thank Shaun (Muir) and all the guys at Hydrex Honda for giving me this opportunity. I like Cadwell Park and am aiming to put in a very strong performance," said Grant, talking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"The bike is one of the strongest out there, as Guy has proved on the roads, so we should be able to run with the front guys right from the start of first practice."
"I like the way Tom conducts himself and he is one to watch for the future. Amid ongoing sponsorship negotiations with Hydrex we need to give the company some added exposure and this is a very good way to do it," added team boss Muir.
