British Supersport Cup rider David Hallett is to try a hand at Supermoto this weekend when he joins the Alice Racing team for the final round of the NORA Championship at Cadwell Park.
Hallett, who races with the Ross Aldridge Triumph team in Supersport, hasn't ridden a Supermoto before but is excited about the opportunity.
"I've always wanted to have a ride on one and now I've got the chance. I've watched a fair bit of Supermoto on the TV and they look like crazily fun bikes to ride so I really can't wait for the weekend to arrive," said Hallett.
"We get a day of practice on the Saturday and then onto the races on Sunday after a small qualyfying practice so at least we'll get some practice in before the races start proper."
Alice Racing specialise in developing, preparing and racing the Aprilia SXV and also provide race parts and services they have tested under race conditions. The firm also supply riders customers from the back of the National grid to the front of the British Championship, and other race teams worldwide.
