Harley-Davidson have teamed up with British Superbike organisers to create a one-make series for its new XR1200 bike – and it looks like the class will be backed by MCN!
In a great coup by Series Director Stuart Higgs, Harley will be building versions of the bike to run at nine races over the 2009 BSB calendar with reasonable entry fees to attract both entry-level riders and established stars.
And, in another coup for Higgs, it would appear that Motor Cycle News have backed the series alongside Henderson Insurance. This marks the paper's return to supporting British racing, which can only be applauded by all sides. Good work Potksi. Less speed cameras, more action...
