Likeable Irishman Steve Heneghan will make a return to the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 series in 2012 after signing to ride for the recently-renamed Quattro Plant Kawasaki team. He joins Gary Mason and Freddie Foray who will be on the team's BSB machinery.
Heneghan rode for the team at two rounds British Superbikes last year and will also race at the Northwest 200 and the Isle of Man TT, and make his debut at the super-fast Ulster Grand Prix.
”Quattro Plant Kawasaki is a tight knit and professional team and I'm excited to be riding again for them. I am confident in their preparation of the Kawasaki ZX-10R and will be looking to make a big impact on the championship and will be pushing very hard from the off.” He continued.” Having known John and the guys from last year, we have built a solid relationship and it is a real good position to be in," said Heneghan.
”The schedule for the road racing calendar will be to contend the TT, NW200 and Ulster Grand Prix. Competing in the Ulster Grand Prix will be a first for me, so I am really excited about the year ahead.”
