HILL MAY KNOW HIS BSB FUTURE THIS AFTERNOON

World Superbike refugee Tommy Hill may know his racing future as soon as this afternoon as he is expecting phone calls from at least two British Superbike teams.

The youngster parted company from his Althea Honda squad after the Monza round and has been looking around for a competitive ride ever since.

"I have been talking to Jack Valentine for a couple of weeks but didn't speak to Honda this weekend out of respect for Glen," said Hill, talking to bikesportnews.com today.

"Obviously I want to be on a competitive bike so I have been keeping up with my training so I can be as fit as possible if and when the phone rings. I should be talking to some people this afternoon."
HM Plant Honda will need to replace Glen Richards and Hill has been riding the Althea Fireblade on the world scene. Jon Kirkham may not be fit to take his seat at NW200 Yamaha while the Jentin Yamaha team are currently riderless.

The fourth option could be with Worx Suzuki who are taking their rider decisions on a race-by-race basis. Michael Rutter had a good debut on the GSX-R at Thruxton but poor results at the subsequent rounds may have team boss Jack Valentine looking elsewhere.
