Former MCE British Superbike Chamnpion Tommy Hill says he has plans which will shock the paddock within the next few months as he plans his return to the racing world.
Hill announced he was taking some time off at the end of last season and has spent the last eight months working on his design business and looking after son Harrison.
But in an exclusive interview with Bikesport News, the ex-World Superbike man says he will be back: "I could shock a few people in the next month or so, but I think I still want to be involved in the sport whether I am riding or not.
"But I still go out on track days and go out on a bike as I miss the riding and miss the racing and the competition, so I would like to be involved in the sport. But we will see, but I keep in touch with my personal sponsors who have supported me and we are working on a few different ideas for next year. But I could be back, but say no more, but could return in a different way.”
Hill also revealed what prompted him to stop racing in the first place and that fact that having a son has saved him from himself.
