After completing two races Jason O'Halloran has decided to sit out of the final race of the weekend at Cadwell Park.
Before the final race of the weekend at Cadwell Park, Jason O'Halloran and his Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki crew have withdrawn from the race.
The Australian rider suffered injuries to his right hand in a warm-up crash back at Thruxton. O'Halloran has ridden through the injuries so far this weekend but will sit on the sidelines for the final 20-lap race.
The Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki Team released this statement about their joint decision to withdraw:
"Unfortunately, after trying to persevere with his Thruxton hand injury, the team and Jason O'Halloran have jointly decided to withdraw Jason from Race Three on safety grounds. A good long recovery period now to come back fighting for the next round."
O'Halloran was competitive this weekend at Cadwell Park despite the injuries. In Qualifying he pulled out a lap time that put him on pole position for the opening race. The O'Show then went on to finish sixth and tenth in the two races he completed.
There is now a three-week break before Oulton Park and the start of the Showdown, giving O'Halloran time to recover.
