Maxxis Yamaha's David Johnson could miss the next British Superbike round at Cadwell Park after a massive crash at Brands Hatch saw him write off his R1 and injure himself.
A statement from the team reads: "The team will now head back to their workshop in Liverpool and assess the damage to the R1, and await news on the full extent of Dave Johnson’s injuries. Thereafter, a decision will be made by team owners John Jameson and Julian Mosquera regarding their plans for the next round at Cadwell Park."
