Buildbase BMW’s Ryuichi Kiyonari will not ride at this weekend’s MCE British Superbike finale saying that the team pulled him out of the event even though he was ready to race.

Kiyonari was all ready to go at the Kent circuit but will now not take part in the final three races of the season. Lee Jackson and Richard Cooper, who is fighing for the Riders’ Cup, will occupy the garage.

“I am all ready and prepared to race at Brands Hatch this weekend. I have discussed with the team that I want to race. I regret to say that the team has made the decision to pull me out, so there’s nothing I can do about that.  I will still be at the circuit during race week. I apologise to all my fans and supporters that I won’t be able to race at Brands Hatch,” said Kiyo
