Samsung Honda's Ryuichi Kiyonari has been ruled out of what would probably have been his last MCE British Superbike race as his shoulder injury is still causing him too much pain to race this weekend.
The Japanese rider went for MRI scans on the shoulder he aggravated before Silverstone and ruled himself out, so he will again be replaced by Frenchman Freddy Foray who deputised at the Northamptonshire track.
"It is disappointing but Kiyo is still in too much pain to race this weekend. We have Freddy back for a second event and having improved throughout the Silverstone round, we expect to see more from him this weekend," said team boss Havier Beltran.
