Samsung Honda's Alex Lowes is well setup for this weekend's Knockhill MCE British Superbike round after an evening test at Cadwell Park on Monday saw him back in the saddle for 40 laps of the Lincolnshire track.
The title challenger was on circuit with team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari and the team's Motorpoint British Supersport star Jason O'Halloran in the evening session and is pleased to be back on a bike. Lowes wouldn't be drawn on laptimes, however.
"We didn't really try anything new with the bike but it was good to get some laps in and now we can go forward to Knockhill this weekend as sharp as we can be," said Lowes, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
"We tested at Knockhill a little while ago and that was good so I am really looking forward to continuing to run at the front and get some more podiums."
