Red Viper Racing’s second rider Alastair Fagan is out for an estimated four weeks following his qualifying crash at Knockill this afternoon for the sixth round of the Visk British Superbike Cup championship.
Fagan caused the first of two red flags that occurred in the first stage of the Swan Combi 50 Roll for Pole in which it is now confirmed he has broken his collarbone. Unfortunately due to previously dislocating the same shoulder on more than one occasion he will now have to undergo surgery to put sufficient pins in place.
With the estimated recovery time not only will Fagan miss out on tomorrow’s race, but more than likely the next round at Mallory Park in a couple of weeks time.
