The start of the MCE British Superbike track activities has been delayed at Knockhill, due to heavy rain overnight. The surface approaching turn one at the Scottish circuit has been damaged and emergency repairs are being carried out.
The organisers anticipate the work on the track to be completed by 11am this morning, meaning the first bikes out will be from the Ducati TriOptions Cup, to take part in their qualifying session at approximately 11:30.
With the later start it means the HEL Performance British Motostar, Pirelli National Superstock 1000, and Stock 600 second qualifying outings are cancelled, and grid positions will go from the first qualifying session results held in dry conditions yesterday.
