KNOCKHILL BSB: MASON WILL RIDE THIS WEEKEND

Quay Garage Honda's Gary Mason says he will be riding at Knockhill's British Superbike round, ending paddock speculation that his team has run out of money.

The former British and AMA Superbike rider currently leads the Superbike Cup by miles and is equal tenth in the main championship table, just four points behind HM Plant Honda's Josh Brookes.

"We are going to Knockhill and I am really pleased that we can carry on racing this weekend. It's a testament to Ian (Quay Garage team boss) that we can carry on but we really need to find some backing for the rest of the year," said Mason, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.

"I have had some good and bad results at Knockhill. It's an OK track and it might rain, but my bike works really well when it's wet so we might be better off with a bit of water around."
