Moto Rapido Ducati's Scott Smart reckons he is looking to kickstart a big points chase at Knockhill this weekend and try to start reeling in runaway National Superstock leader Alastair Seeley.
The former BSB rider put in an astounding BSB display on the Hawk Kawasaki last year, coming up through the pack and lapping faster than the leaders on a drying track before crashing out.
"I like Knockhill and I think it will suit the Ducati. The only place we might struggle is up the hill out of the hairpin but the track suits my style and I have done well here in the past," said Smart, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
"We have to do something about Alastair's perfect record and start chasing some big points. I reckon we can start doing that here so long as I can qualify well."
