DANNY Buchan believes his podium run could continue for the remainder of the season after his best ever Bennetts British Superbike Championship weekend at Knockhill.
The FS-3 Racing Kawasaki man stormed to a second in today’s first race and then backed it up with a third later this afternoon after a faultless run at the Scottish track.
And the recently-wed two-time Superstock champion believes the win now isn’t far off.
In fact, he feels it could even come at Brands Hatch in a fortnight.
“Throughout the years I’ve had bike that’s been good at certain tracks, so I’ve had a bike that’s good here because it doesn’t really matter about horsepower and little bits like that,” he told Bikesport News.
“But now I’ve got a bike that works well everywhere. I was close to fighting at Snetterton but I think we’ll be there or there about for the rest of the year to be honest.
“It’s the first time I’ll have gone to Brands GP, Silverstone and Thruxton with a bike I feel like I can win on.
“We haven’t changed much, we’ve just kept everything nice and consistent, and the team are doing the best they can to get the best out of me. We’ll be fighting until the end.”
