KNOCKHILL BSB: YOUNG SUFFERS ANOTHER BROKEN WRIST

TAG Triumph’s Paul Young has been forced to miss the sixth round of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship at the Scottish circuit of Knockhill this weekend after breaking his wrist again whilst mountain biking.
The Barlestone rider has broken the same wrist which already was plated from a previous injury.  It is believed that the latest break may have healed by itself if it wasn’t for the existing implanted metal, therefore Young will undergo surgery currently on Monday to replace the plate with a larger one.
Young who spoke to www.bikesportnews.com a couple of weeks ago at Snetterton, read more, in which he was hoping his season would turn around for the better, but that wasn’t to be.  Not only is he not on track this weekend he is likely to miss the next round in a couple of weeks at his home circuit of Mallory Park.
