Kyle Ryde has momentum on his side heading into the British Superbike (BSB) Showdown after doing the double at Cadwell Park.
Going into the final three rounds of the British Superbike season Kyle Ryde has momentum on his side. The OMG GRILLA Yamaha rider won two races and finished second last time out at Cadwell Park.
With the BSB Showdown beginning this weekend Ryde is excited to get back on his bike. Ryde has past form in the Showdown as he claimed more points than any other rider last season across the nine Showdown races.
Ryde is only nineteen points behind Tommy Bridewell in the standings as he attempts to prevent Bridewell from winning back-to-back titles.
“I’m excited to ride my bike again this weekend and get stuck into the Showdown rounds," Ryde said. "Oulton Park was a mixed round for us earlier in the year; we had a few top-five finishes and then an unfortunate technical problem which robbed us of another probable top-five finish, but that’s racing.
“My team has come a long way since then with improving my bike, which should put us in a strong position for this weekend. With the podiums and victories across the last three rounds, we have good momentum behind us, and now the points are increased, it matters now more than ever to make sure we keep that going.
“I am looking forward to Oulton Park and putting a fight up to Tommy and hopefully claw a few points back and then the Showdown should be very interesting for Donington Park and Brands Hatch.”
