Strong rumour suggests that former NW200 Ducati man John Laverty will switch to the Hawk Racing outfit in British Superbikes next season and will take much-needed sponsorship money with him.

Laverty, who looked to be left high and dry after his team fell out with the Ducati factory over Michael Rutter's age, will move to the Mallory-Park based team, which will now become Buildbase Kawasaki.

The Irishman, who got married recently, will line-up alongside Tristan Palmer who signed for the team days after riding for them at The Race of The Year.
