British Supersport newboy Dan Linfoot certainly isn't short of ambition. His target for the 2009 season is to win the title and then to move up into British Superbikes in 2010.
Oh, and he wouldn't mind a crack at a World Supersport wildcard next season either...
Linfoot, who is still only 20, signed for the Rob Mac Racing outfit a couple of weeks ago after a secret test session and can't wait to get out there and mix it with the likes of Steve Plater and Billy McConnell.
Speaking to www.bikesportnews.com at the NEC Bike Show, Linfoot said: "I am really happy in the Rob Mac team. I've only known them a few weeks and it's all really good and friendly.
"My aim is to win the title but it's going to be tough. There are a lot of fast guys in there, especially Plater and McConnell so it's not going to be easy but it will be a lot of fun.
"I'd also like to have a crack at World Supersport. We've got data from Donington Park and there's no reason why I can't get a top five - but that's a hard race too.
"The other aim, I suppose, is to move up to British Superbikes in 2010 but that all depends, I suppose, on whether I can take the title in 2009. Best concentrate on that, I reckon."
