NW200 Yamaha's Dan Linfoot says he is confident of a return to British Supersport action at the Brands Hatch round as his recovery from surgery is progressing faster than expected.
Linfoot had surgery to pin and wire metatarsals in his foot following a massive crash in qualifying at Snetterton but is already up and about, and walking without crutches.
"I've been able to put weight on my foot already and can walk up and down stairs without using my crutches. I'm not in any pain now so we will see what the doctors say," said Linfoot, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening.
"I would like to take the cast off and see if I could ride at Mallory but that's probably not the best plan, so I will leave it until Brands so I am fully fit and able to fight at the front again."
