Elliot Lodge has joined Steve Patrickson's SP125 team to challenge for the British 125cc Championship in 2012 during his second year in the class.

The Birkenshaw 18-year-old had ridden for Spike Racing for the past ten years but is aiming to build on last season's performances and really hit the ground running in 2012.

"I am really excited about working with Steve, I am hoping to take full advantage of all his years of experience, both as a rider and team manager. SP125 has a long history of producing champion winning riders, and I am looking forward to giving it my best to continue the trend," said Lodge.
