Lowes full of confidence ahead of Thruxton BSB clash

Samsung Honda's Alex Lowes is full of confidence ahead of this weekend's MCE British Superbike clash at Thruxton.

The Lincolnshire youngster, who stuck it on the podium twice at Brands Hatch, says he only got to push his Fireblade hard during qualifying due to weather conditions in free practice at the Kent track and added that it felt good.

"Thruxton is a really cool track and I can’t wait to get there as it’s really fast and I think it will be good for the Samsung Honda. It wasn’t until qualifying at Brands Hatch that we really got the chance to push the bike for the first time properly and it felt good. I’m confident for Thruxton and it’s a place I really enjoy so I want to have another two good, strong finishes and I’ll be happy," he said.
