MALLORY BSB: ENGINE ISSUES HAMPER CAMIER

Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier has been hampered with two engine problems which have prevented him from running at the front of British Superbike free practice at Mallory Park but team boss Colin Wright says they have been fixed.

Camier didn't turn a wheel in second practice yesterday afternoon because a mistake by the team affected his engine and a problem with the wiring loom this morning limited the Kent youngster to a handful of laps.

"We had an engine issue yesterday which was a mistake by us," said Wright, talking to bikesportnews.com after this morning's session. "This morning we had a fractured wire in the loom but we have sorted it out now. Fingers crossed everything will be ok for qualifying this afternoon."
