Rumour currently spreading through the British Superbike paddock is suggesting Michael Rutter may be in talks to join the SMT Honda squad at Mallory Park this weekend.

If true, it will be Rutter's third team this season and he will be replacing Jason O'Halloran who appears to have cleared off to the Althea Honda World Supersport team.

That completes a nice circle. Tommy Hill parted company from Althea Honda and replaces Rutter at works Suzuki, who replaces O'Halloran at SMT Honda who replaces Matthieu Lagrive at Althea who replaced Tommy Hill...
