Popular Irishman Michael Laverty is considering taking on Paul Bird's MotoGP CRT ride in 2013 after the Cumbrian chicken magnate dumped James Ellison from his team after the final Valencia round.
Laverty says the CRT deal is one of three he is looking at for next year and will make a decision as early as Monday of next week.
"CRT with the PBM squad is certainly a strong option. You have to look at the positives of being in the MotoGP paddock and the opportunties it may bring in the future," said Laverty, speaking to bikesportnews.com this lunchtime.
"I have a very big decision to make over the next couple of days. I am not ruling out the other options I have, which are with strong teams in British Superbikes, so I will have to do some hard thinking."
