Moto-Breakers switch to Kawasaki power for 2013

Moto-Breakers will switch to Kawasaki power for the Pirelli 2013 National Superstock season with Jonathan Lodge moving to the 1000cc class and younger brother James will contest the 600 series.

Lodge Snr raced in the Motorspoint British Supersport Cup in 2012 and finished in a strong third place is now moving up to the bigger class to learn the skills and knowledge on a 1000cc machine. Lodge Jnr will be joined by Australian youngster Levi Day.

"I've been working hard to get this year right, we've been working hard on the bikes and I've been saving the pennies for the season ahead. I'm really looking forward to this year, it's a new team, new bike and I know the Kawasaki ZX-10R can be right up there at the front. I didn't get to do any testing last year and only rode on race weekends as it wasn't feasible. It did affect my performance and in such a competitive and money driven class in Supersport it was very apparent," said Lodge Snr,

"I'm looking to get in as much seat time from now until the start of the season if the weather allows me to. I'm also looking forward to working in the same team as my brother again. I've not ridden the new bike yet and I've never ridden a 1000cc bike, so I'm keen to get out on it and see how I get on, I'm hoping if this weather brightens up it will be sometime in March. I certainly am looking forward to this year and hope I can get some good results."
