Anvil TAG Yamaha’s James Rispoli will debut some new parts on his R1 at this weekend’s MCE British Superbike round as well as continuing with setup steps he made last time out at Knockhill.
Rispoli believes the more open nature of the Norfolk track will suit the R1’s characteristics and he is confident of some good results.
“I’m excited, I’m really excited. Snetterton is one of my favourite tracks on the calendar, I love it! I’ve just come off a huge week of training in Wales and I’m feeling good, I feel really good and I’m in a good place ahead of this weekend,” said the not at all excitable American.
“We have some new parts this weekend, some new things to try to help us in our pursuit to the front as well as we’re in good form all round, and ready to get the weekend going. There looks like there is going to be some good weather also so we need to capitalise on this and have two solid races and get some points.
“I feel back one with the bike where I can push again, we found something with the front forks at Knockhill and that will certainly help at Snetterton. I feel really confident heading into this weekend, it’s more open than the rest of the tracks, the Yamaha can really use its characteristics and we can move forward, so I’m really excited.”
