NO TITLE SPONSOR, NO GSE RACING - WRIGHT

GSE Racing team boss Colin Wright has said that if a title sponsor can't be found then the team will not be in the British Superbike paddock next season and it could mean an end to the squad full stop.

GSE have won five British Superbike Championships in their various guises, the latest being Airwaves Yamaha, but Wright has made it plain that without a title sponsor, GSE will not be on the grid next year.

"Even though we have the insfrastructure and bikes, it will still cost around a million pounds to win the title again next year and we cannot do it without a main partner," said Wright, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.

"We will not consider running with a handful of small sponsors because we couldn't give them the best return on their investment and we can't have a team made up of five names."
