MSS Colchester Kawasaki's Simon Andrews will run a full Magneti Marelli electronics package on his ZX-10R at Oulton Park British Superbikes this weekend, meaning he will be able to use traction control for the first time.
Andrews, who scrapped his way to seventh and 11th at Brands Hatch before going out to Le Mans, wasn't able to use the Marelli system at the first round but is looking forward to getting to grips with it.
"We didn't use the system at Brands for various reasons but we can at Oulton this weekend and I am really looking forward to seeing what it can do in terms of traction control and data," said a still-injured Andrews.
"Getting all of the data out of the bike will be a real step forward and be a massive help not only towards setup for this race but give us a really good base setting for the season."
