OULTON BSB: CAMIER CONFIDENT DESPITE POWER DEFICIT

Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier will return to the scene of his first double podium for the GSE Racing British Superbike team but reckons that he may struggle with a lack of power at the fast and flowing Chesire track.

Camier, who put in a comedy star-turn during yesterday's Eurosport World Superbike coverage, is lying second in the championship behind Sylvain Guintoli's Worx Suzuki and is hoping for more podiums.

"Coming away from Brands Hatch with a win and second in the Championship was a great result and so my confidence is definitely high for this round. When we visited the circuit this time last year I scored my first double podium for the team, some similar results this weekend would be fantastic," said Camier.

"Although we might struggle slightly with a lack of power compared to the competition, from what we learnt at the first round I think the Airwaves Yamaha YZF-R1 should handle really well."
