Hydrex Honda's Karl Harris completed his free practice hat-trick at Oulton park, setting the fastest British Superbike time and managing to keep Leon Camier and team-mate Stuart Easton behind him.
In colder conditions than yesterday, the top three were the only men to go underneath the 1'37 barrier, Harris posting a 1'36.855 lap with 25 minutes of the session remaining.
The 50 minutes was dominated by Harris with only Easton and Camier really challenging and HM Plant Honda's Glen Richards finishing off a theoretical front row with his final lap, just four-tenths of a second off the pace.
The Airwaves Yamaha of Camier finished the session just 0.011 behind the Yorkshireman, with Scotsman Easton a tenth behind the lanky Kent youngster who's last lap lap was his quickest.
Team-mate James Ellison was fifth fastest despite a last-minute crash with Ian Lowry getting used to his Superbike in sixth and the still-impressive Superbike Cup rider Gary Mason in seventh. Championship leader Sylvain Guintoli rounds out the second row.
