OULTON BSB: HARRIS CONTINUES TO TOP THE TIMES

Hydrex Honda's Karl Harris finished this afternoon's British Superbike second free practice session at Oulton Park at the top of the timesheets, nicking the number one spot from team-mate Stuart Easton with a minute left to go.

Harris began the session quickest after leading this morning first session but was bettered by Eston after only a handful of laps when the Scotsman put in a 1'37.070 time which remained quickest until Bomber went fastest by three-tenths of a second.

As the weather cooled at the Cheshire circuit, the track temperature dropped enough for lap times to get slower and slower until Airwaves Yamaha's James Ellison started a late run of laps culminating in a 1'37.314, which was good enough to put for second before Harris' last effort.

Ellison's team-mate Leon Camier only completed five laps but his was good enough to round out a theoretical front row. Relentless Suzuki's Ian Lowry came from way down this morning to take fifth fastest, just a second off the pace, while Glen Richards, on the HM Plant Honda was next along. Superbike Cup man Gary Mason was seventh while Graeme Gowland rounded out the second row. Chris Walker and Tristan Palmer complete the top ten.
