Howie-Mainwaring-Smart took his brand new MH Kawasaki team not only into the MCE British Superbike points at Oulton Park but right into the top ten, taking seventh place in the second British Superbike race by stuffing Keith Farmer at the last corner.
The boy-band hairalike moved up from Superstock 1000 this season and joined Michael Howarth’s squad alongside Luke Quigley, who was sidelined under the seven-day rule after a bang on the head at Mallory on Wednesday. Howarth took his place and the less said about that the better.
“I had to put the move on Farmer as he pushed me on to the grass at Hizzy’s! I am so happy with the results this weekend, my side of garage have worked really hard and it has paid off for us. Hopefully, there will be more to come now,” he said.
