OULTON BSB: MY NEXT PODIUM IS BRANDS WSB, SAYS SYKES

Not content with winning his first British Superbike race at Oulton Park at lunchtime today, and then doing it again at tea time, Rizla Suzuki's Tom Sykes has now got his sights firmly set on Brands Hatch World Superbikes – and standing on the podium there too.
The 22-year-old from Huddersfield put on a great display of controlled riding this afternoon, managing a clearly-shot rear tyre in the second race, to ward off Cal Crutchlow and Shane Byrne not once, but twice.
This, apparently is not enough. "Brands Hatch WSB is next and my debut at that level of racing. My Rizla Suzuki is as good as any Superbike in the world and I can't wait to rub shoulders with Bayliss, Haga and Kagayama, they need to look out, I'm going for the podium," said Sykes.
It will be good to see Sykes go against the best Superbike riders in the world. Well, some more of them anyway...
