MCE British Superbike Championship points leader Shane Byrne has ticked one box this season already and wrested the win tally record from Ryuichi Kiyonari at Thruxton but says there is no time to sit about.

The Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki man is keen to increase his lead over Alex Lowes and Josh Brookes at this weekend's Oulton Park round, something the Honda and Suzuki men will want to put a stop to.

"Thruxton ticked some boxes in terms of winning the most races but I can't rest on my laurels and with the chance of a fourth title we will be aiming for even more wins at Oulton Park," said Byrne.
