FHO Racing’s new signing Xavi Fores has been ruled out of this weekend’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship action after suffering a scaphoid injury during free practice.

The Spaniard highsided coming out of the Shell Oils hairpin during Friday's final free practice session with the subsequent trip to the medical centre diagnosing the injury to his right wrist.

Fores was making his return to BSB after a year’s absence, his previous year in 2019 seeing him ride for Honda Racing, but will now return to Andorra with the aim of returning at the second round at Knockhill on July 10-11.
