Supersport legend Mike Edwards will make a long-awaited  return to the British Superbike paddock at Oulton Park this weekend as he helps out National Superstock rider Richard Fogg.

Edwards, who has been racing in the classic and supermono scenes for the last couple of years,  will ride an Italsport Ducati 1198 in order to give some help and advice.

“The whole thing is to make sure that Richard gets as much as  possible out of the bike. I am just in a support role, to help with set up,  and assist with developing it further," said Edwards, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening.

"So, in effect, I am massively jammy to be offered an 1198 to have a run round on this  weekend!"
