Oulton Park will host a triple header round of MCE British Superbikes over the Bank Holiday weekend of Sunday Monday 6-7 May.
The Cheshire circuit will host the postponed second race from Brands Hatch on the Sunday afternoon, timetabled to follow the qualifying session for the first of the two races of Monday’s third round of the series.
The race had Brands Hatch was held over on safety grounds after persistent rain and a cocktail of oil and fuel contamination left the circuit in treacherous condition.
In the re-scheduled race the riders will line up in the grid positions that were intended for the race at Brands Hatch with Tyco Suzuki's Alastair Seeley starting from pole position.
"It was hugely disappointing that we had to postpone the second Superbike race at Brands Hatch. We evaluated all possible rescheduling options and determined that it will take place at Oulton Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend," explained series director Stuart Higgs.
