Josh Owens will compete for a third consecutive Bennetts British Superbike season alongside Rapid CDH Racing Kawasaki for 2022.

Former British GP2 champion Owens continued to gain experience in BSB during 2021, securing point scoring finishes at Oulton Park and Donington Park with a best result of 14th. His performance at the penultimate round was a career best in the top class despite returning from an injury which had sidelined him for several rounds.

“I’m happy to be back on the Superbike grid for 2022 and grateful for Rapid CDH to keep me on after a tough 2021 with an injury making me miss most of the season,” Owens said on the announcement. "I feel we made a great step forward together this year and when we were on track we showed great potential. We are getting stronger, so I’m really excited to focus on getting back to full fitness and improving, so that we can continue to bring home some strong results.”
