TWR Honda’s Jenny Tinmouth will return to MCE British Superbike action at Silverstone after a public donation campaign and taking a job as a film stunt rider enabled her to get the cash together for the last two rounds.
The Ellesmere Port fast lady had to pull out of the series earlier in the year as cash simply ran out but the new job and donations from members of the public means she will be back in the pack tomorrow at the Northamptonshire circuit.
“I just have to say thanks to everyone who has made donations so I can go back racing again. I took a second job too, doing some stunt work on a film which I can’t name but it's not James Bond, on top of the bike workshop, but it is all worth it,” said Tinmouth, speaking to bikesportnews.com this lunchtime.
“I also did a photoshoot with the Financial Times as I have been nominated in the Barclays Women of the Year Award, which is also very exciting.”
