Peter Hickman comments on his split from FHO Racing

Isle of Man TT

Peter Hickman took to social media after his latest announcement to share his feelings on his departure from FHO Racing.

After splitting from the FHO Racing squad, Peter Hickman has spoken out for the first time on social media.

Peter Hickman and Davey Todd will not race for FHO Racing for the 2025 British Superbike season as it was originally announced. Instead, Hickman and Todd will ride for the newly formed 8TEN Racing in British Superbikes and on the roads.

FHO Racing has downsized from a two-rider team to a one-rider team for the 2025 season. The team will now field Ilya Mikhalchick as their sole rider on the British Superbike grid.

“I want to say a massive thank you to Faye [Ho] and FHO Racing for everything she has done for me over the last four years,” Hickman wrote in a Facebook post.

“As is normal with racing we’ve had mega highs and disappointing lows throughout but FHO has and always will be a huge part of my racing career and I’m forever grateful for that opportunity.

“Now starts another chapter with teammate Davey Todd at 8Ten Racing and BMW Motorrad.

“More news to come later this month but to say I’m excited would be an understatement.

“Huge thanks to all my sponsors and supporters both present and past, let’s make 2025 an unforgettable one.”

The 8TEN Racing Team are set to be officially unveiled on the 26th of February.
