British Superbike regular Luke Quigley has parted company with his MH Kawasaki team as he wants to take his career down a different path.
The split, which both parties say is amicable, is effective immediately and team boss Michael Howarth is now on the hunt to secure another rider to partner Howie-Mainwaring-Smart in the team at Knockhill.
"I would like to thank MH Kawasaki for what they have done over the first two rounds. What Michael has achieved in such a short space of time is mind-blowing and I wish him every success," said Quigley.
Howarth added: "Luke and I spoke after Oulton Park and I am truly gutted to see him leave but I repect his decision to want to take his career down another path. I wish him every success in the future."
